Impact tamper for easier pressing
Why choose the IKAPE V6 impact tamper?Regular calibrated coffee tampers are made with a calibrated 30 lb. push spring. The espresso puck will be subjected to 30 lbs. of pressure by the push spring, and similarly, the operator will need to apply 30 lbs. of pressure to the handle of the tamper. However, the IKAPE V6 impact coffee tamper changes this rule with a new construction that allows you to provide only 15 pounds of pressing pressure to get at least 30 pounds of ground coffee puck pressing pressure! This will make it much easier for you to make a cup of espresso.
Built-in new impact structure
Why is it that the V6 coffee tamper can achieve the desired espresso puck tamping press force with less press force? This is due to the development of a new reservoir structure by IKAPE’s engineers. the V6 impact tamper has a built-in reservoir spring that maintains a reservoir of force when it is not being pressed. When a pressing force is applied to the tamper, the spring mechanism is released, and the impact force is applied to the tamper base to tamping the coffee grounds.
Ergonomically designed tamper handle
IKAPE V6 tamper is ergonomically designed with the comfort of pressing with your hand in mind. the IKAPE team has adopted a palm pressing method, which increases the pressing area between the handle and the palm of your hand without the need to involve your fingers in pressing, making the exertion of force simpler and easier. With the same amount of pressing force, a larger pressing area will make you feel less effort.
Espresso tamper with large threads on the bottom
The IKAPE Coffee tamper bottom is threaded, forming a very distinct threaded shape after pressing the ground coffee, which creates a larger contact area during espresso extraction and improves the extraction efficiency of the coffee.
